One thing that hits me weird is when people get 100% and 99%. Since multiple people get this will those who get 100% get 1 point and ALL the people who got 99% get 2 points? and assuming if no one gets 100% then everyone who got 99% gets 1.

In an event of a completion tie, i think the officials will refer to perfects (and if the perfects tie too, i hope they look at the other stuff)

In that case, people who score 100% completion will TIE and get 1 point each. If people tie for a place/rank they will share the score. In that same example, the people who got 99% wouldn't get 2 points as they're not technically 2nd place. See the following example to see how the scores would be tallied. Completion on God Knows | corresponding Points/Ranking (for # of perfects on God Knows) | 100%
| 1 (tie)
| 100%
| 1 (tie)
| 97%
| 3
| 93%
| 4 (tie)
| 93%
| 4 (tie)
|
Yeah.

So somebody who has a 99% with only one miss will place higher than someone who gets 99% with 4 misses, for example.

What happens if I can't beat one of the charts? Does that mean that I'm just not in the tournament now?

What happens if I can't beat one of the charts? Does that mean that I'm just not in the tournament now? Playing the charts in No Death is possible (lets say scores with ND wont submit) just screencap your result and PM it to zach/decon or post it here

so my score has nothing to do with the tournaments? We would have used score in the past, but a user's skill boosts modify the game frame and result in a higher base score. This wouldn't be fair because some people have tons of score boosts but others like me don't use any. What happens if I can't beat one of the charts? Does that mean that I'm just not in the tournament now? Well to be fair, if you can't pass the songs in this round, you probably wouldn't be able to pass those in later rounds either. No Death scores count and they're perfectly okay to submit. Also, I thought you could get 100% on Quasar?

I haven't even touched a rhythm game recently and I was tired so I wasn't able to pass disorganized fun...

Round 2:This part is very important! Based on your Round 1 performance (see Round 1 Scores section), you have been placed into two different groups. You will only need to play the charts for your group! You do not need to play the charts assigned to the other group. (Though you can if you want! You just won't be scored on them.) First, the two groups! Green Group | Blue Group | nivrad00 | Billybob234 | Roudofu | ChronoX77 | Gon | SykoSyko | Zer0 | celticmaster | wizardoffail | FroddoB | AmyXx | JessicaJung | darkmark | Larypie | Paulnet | silentgen | Lenfried | Avdi | DrPhil | sakamoto | cat | BMTrom | Jxyden | Detrimentalist | Bonkzor | myrelink80 | | tryoy777 | | Geenareeno | | Z_Slash | | Finchy | | legendary_mantis | | maige554 | | Cake_For_All | | Twilight_Sparkle | | Orca | | ColdCrow | | hannanos | | thisucks | | rfhn |
| tmps9730635 |
If you are in the Green Group, these are the charts you will be playing in Round 2: (click images!) Evans (Charlotte) (if you're going to play the Lockie rechart to be a troll, then we can count that also, but please don't) Tenkuu no Yoake - Impossible (ripazhakgggdkp)Bow Down, You Ignorant Fools (wizardoffail)And if you are in the Blue Group, you will be playing these charts: (click images!) Moonsetter (LunaStik)Mad Gear Zone [All Acts] (Charlotte)Move That Body (DrPhil)Once again, you will have a week to play all of the charts and submit your scores! You must play all three charts assigned to your group before next Saturday. If you don't, you'll receive the worst possible score and lose any hope of winning the tournament! Round 1 Scores: Other Details:Since some of you can't follow directions Zach and I are such nice people, we have allowed you to participate in the later rounds of the tournament even if you only played 2 of the 3 charts in Round 1. Our logic behind this was that if you played two of the tournament charts in a row then you obviously were wanting to join the tournament. To make this fair, if you didn't play one of the charts, you received the maximum possible score (26 or 54) for that chart. If you don't play charts in later rounds, you will receive the same score. We determined the groups objectively by looking at the scores. Before splitting the groups, we calculated everyone's scores together, and looked for a fairly obvious cutoff point based on performance on the three charts. This is what we found: The gap of 21 points between Jxyden and ChronoX77 was the largest gap on the entire list. With the exception of Chrono's Betrayal of Fate score, every person in blue on that list had worse scores than every person in green (ignoring Jxyden). The decision to place Chrono in the lower group was because of his score on Quasar (the hardest song in the first set) and the fact that every person in the top group scored better on Disorganized Fun as well. Chrono, if you're reading this, you can tell us that you'd like to be in the upper group if you'd like to compete with Jxyden and the rest of the pros instead! Afterwards, we split the groups and recalculated scores, only comparing them to others in the same group. This was mainly to keep everyone in the lower group from starting with insanely high scores. For the most part, the top group's points stayed the same, only changing if someone did worse than somebody in the lower group, resulting in a better score when those in the lower group are ignored.

When did amy get so good? Checklist: hit top 3 in the tournament beat amy 3 rounds to go and the gap isn't very large at all. Shouldn't be very hard if Amy wasn't so pro.
